CBF To Date
The sum collected in June 2010 for our Church Building Fund was $99,154.05 and the figure for Pledges being $22,150. The total being $121,304.05. Once again, thank you for your sacrifice and obedience to the Call. It is a great honour to be a part of building something with eternal significance. May God lead you to continue with your giving, and also approach your relatives and friends to have them share with their giving towards this worthy cause. Be a part in praying for the Building Committee to consider the next step.
Latest Addition!
Michael and Ivy Lee are now the proud parents of a second child named Charmaine. She arrived on Monday, 5 July 2010 weighing 3.92kg. Mother and child are well and you can visit them at their home.
Vote With Prayers!
We have a Prime Minister who is an atheist, living in a de facto relationship and a socialist at the helm. Let us make a concerted effort to pray as a Federal election is very soon. You and I have a responsibility to uphold the Government in prayers and this pleases God as stated in 1 Timothy 2:1-4. Pray also for the Leader of the Opposition. Pray for the Leaders of our State too. Righteousness exalts a nation. Pray for the restoration and protection of marriage and the family.
Build Upon The Rock
You are the true building! So build on The Truth as your foundation. The STEP Classes shall instead start from next Sunday, 18 July. We are exhorted to always study, learn and be trained to be soldiers of The Lord. There is a topic for you. However if you are unsure, STEP 3: Growing in Christ is a good one to equip you to be knowledgeable in the Doctrines about God. Faith comes through understanding of The Word. Your Cell Leader shall approach you about this.
Church Anniversary
We will celebrate our 8th Church Anniversary at Happy Receptions in Ascot Vale at 6pm, Saturday 14 August. The cost being $48/adult, $20/child (5-12yrs) and $10/toddler (2-4yrs). Enjoy a Chinese banquet meal, presentations and rejoice together as we thank our mighty God for His faithfulness and goodness. Early Bird Discount is available until July 18, a savings of $10/adult. Special Meeting
We have a Special Speaker from Malaysia with a prophetic and family ministry to share the Word with us on 7.30pm, Friday, 13 August 2010. The location being St. Michael’s Anglican Church. Keep this date free!
