Thank You So Much!
The church requested you play a part by investing into our Church Building Fund by giving through Pledges, and Donations in the last Three Sundays of June. During this period, a total of $99,154.05 was collected. You have been outstanding in the giving of love, hospitality, friendship and joy. Thank you for your grace of giving, your trust in God and your generosity. Let us now pray for The Will of God to be upon the Building Committee to consider the next step.
Snow Trip
Some folks from church are heading to the hills for some fun and fellowship in the snow to escape the freeze here at sea level. The Young Adults are aiming at Mt. Buller and the Families are going to Lake Mountain on Saturday, 10 July. See Troy Truong and Johnson Oen respectively if you are interested.
Strengthening Oneself
We are called to study The Word of God to demonstrate ourselves as workmen approved of God. We are to be articulate through the knowledge of God so that we can be strong and be sharp against the spiritual wickedness. The following shall be offered at the next Semester’s STEP Classes, and these are STEP 1, STEP 3, Godly Parenting, Worship Part 2 (For Worship Team only) and Kids’ Praise. See attachment for details of topics. Classes start Sunday, 11 July 2010 from 1pm to 2pm for 11 weeks. Be in one and be trained! Register yourself with Cell Leaders.
Church Anniversary
We will celebrate our 8th Church Anniversary at Happy Receptions in Ascot Vale at 6pm, Saturday 14 August. The cost being $48/adult, $20/child (5-12yrs) and $10/toddler (2-4yrs). Enjoy a Chinese banquet meal, presentations and rejoice together as we thank our mighty God for His faithfulness and goodness. Early Bird Discount is available until July 18, a savings of $10/adult. Register today and invite family and friends to join in this wonderful occasion.
Becoming A Part
Been visiting and not a Member of this congregation as yet? Register for an information session at the Membership Class. It is now changed to Saturday, 24 July 2010 from 9.30am to 3.30pm. If you have not the knowledge, you surely cannot be ready. Book through your Cell Leader.
